Billion-dollar deal for Coca-Cola European partners in Australia


Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) takes over its Australian branch Regent Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA). The deal gives Sydney’s Coca-Cola Amatil a wide range of rubbed nearly EUR 5.6 billion.

The name is an important bottler of certain drinks. The combination must be able to cope with the delay of the large in the sector, due to the different variants of sugar drinks. Coca-Cola Amatil has 32 production sites in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and older people in the region. It also contains the name Coca-Cola, Fante and Sprite, as well as some brands of whiskey, rum and tequila.

The board of CCA supports the transaction with the CCEP listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. The name is the largest of an Australian company this year.

Coca-Cola European Partners are, by turnover, the largest bottler of Coca-Cola, with 48 production sites in, among others, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. The company was formed in 2015 by the merger of Coca-Cola Enterprises, Coca-Cola Iberia Partners and Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetranke.
