TSMC sees monthly sales continue to rise

Chip manufacturer Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) saw its turnover rise by 7.6 percent in the last month. The total revenue in the third quarter thus came out according to calculations by the Bloomberg news agency at 293 billion Taiwanese dollars, higher than what analysts expected on average.

TSMC is one of the world’s largest producers of smartphone chips for companies such as Apple, Samsung and Huawei and is an important customer of the Dutch chip machine manufacturer ASML.
