China bought 85 percent less Adidas goods since the local New Year

The German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas has a lot of troubles in China due to the outbreak of the new corona virus. Many stores are closed and stores that are open receive fewer customers. Sales in China have fallen by 85 percent since the Chinese New Year.

Adidas also sees weaker customer numbers in Japan and South Korea. The company plans to present more details about the impact of the corona virus on the results when the annual figures are published in March.
