The shareholders of BE Semiconductor (Besi) have approved the appointment of Lodewijk Hijmans van den Bergh as a new member of the supervisory board. Hijmans van den Bergh is the intended new supervisory director of the chip supplier. He succeeds Tom de Waard, who said goodbye to Besi after the annual shareholders’ meeting.
In addition to De Waard, who was a member of the supervisory board for 19 years, Kin Wah-Loh also said goodbye. He was a commissioner for eight years.
The shareholders also approved the reappointment of Commissioner Douglas Dunn. The proposal for a dividend of 1.67 euros per share also received approval.
