Solar Monkey, a developer of software that maps the yield of solar panels, has raised more than one million euros in growth capital. The money is used to speed up the (international) rollout.
The new financing comes from 4impact, InnovationQuarter and an informal investor. Solar Monkey provides software for the remote design and monitoring of solar energy systems. This allows installers to optimally design a system without a home visit. At the same time, performance monitoring gives owners of a solar energy system the reassurance that their system is performing well.
The Delft company already serves hundreds of installers within the Netherlands. The first steps have also been taken in Belgium.
