Philips is expanding its collaboration with Jackson Health System, a major healthcare provider. The medical technology company is now also supplying Jackson with its IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition, on top of the services on which agreements had already been made. No financial details have been brought out.

Earlier this year, both parties agreed on a long-term cooperation. The two have joined together for eleven years, which according to Philips is quite special. What is further remarkable about the long-term agreement is that Philips supplies its products as a service. This means that Philips remains the owner of its own equipment and Jackson takes a subscription to it. Jackson can also rent some systems that patients can be monitored on an individual basis from Philips and Philips can indicate where Jackson’s hospitals can work more efficiently.
