Samsung has announced the official prices of the 2019 line-up of its 8K and 4K QLED TVs. Prices start at around $1200 and increase to dizzying amounts for special models.
In terms of format it starts at 43-inch. The largest model is 98-inch in size. The 2019 models come with various modern technology innovations that make the televisions fresh again. Among other things, Samsung introduces an Ultra Viewing Angle for sharper images at a wider viewing angle, Direct-Full Array for better contrast, HDR10 + so that bright scenes become lighter and darker – darker, a Quantum Processor that with AI upscaling lesser quality content to look more beautiful.
All that beauty comes as said with a price tag. After all, not everyone has the budget for such splendor. In fact, the water will be crooked when they find such a television in your living room.
The QLED 4K Q60R is the cheapest model for $1300. The prices then rise between 2,000 and $13,000 . This concerns the sizes 49/50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 82-inch. Outlier is the new 98-inch QLED 8K Q950R. This new television costs no less than $90.000.
