Airbus predicts further troubles as the trade war is escalating

Further escalation of global trade relations is harmful to the entire aviation sector. Guillaume Faury of aircraft manufacturer Airbus warned about this. He also referred to American Airbus rival Boeing.

The United States and the European Union have threatened each other with billions of euros in import duties. The focus is on aviation, agricultural vehicles and food, among other things.

“These tensions and the trading situation are not an advantage for any player in the aviation sector,” said Faury. “We don’t think we’re losing more than the other players because of this situation.”
