Dutch export in August was 2.3 percent lower m/m

Dutch exports of goods were 2.3 percent lower in August than in the same month a year earlier. In particular, the export of petroleum products, transport equipment and metal products shrank. There were also fewer machines and equipment, according to Statistics Netherlands (CBS).

The volume of imports was 0.8% lower than a year ago. According to the so-called export radar of the statistical office, export conditions in October are less favourable than in August.
