Decline in the residential construction in the US reported

The number of homes under construction in the United States fell by 0.9 percent in May compared to a month earlier. The US Department of Commerce announced this.
 
On the contrary, economists had generally expected that housing construction would increase by 0.4 percent. According to a new estimate, housing construction increased by 6.8 percent in April.

The ministry also announced that the number of building permits issued in May increased by 0.3 percent.
