Import prices for USA are falling again


Import prices in the United States decreased by 0.5 percent in January compared to the previous month. This is shown by figures from the American government.

Economists had awaited a decrease of 0.2 percent in average. In December, import prices also went down by 1 percent.

Export prices in the US fell by 0.6 percent last month, after an equally large decrease a month earlier.
